CPSB Employees / Parents / Legal Guardians / Residents of Caddo Parish
March 1, 2022 - April 15, 2022
MAJORITY TO MINORITY TRANSFERS
Provisions are made by the Caddo Parish School Board for students to transfer from a school in which they are a part of the majority race to a school where they would be a part of the minority race. Limited transportation will be provided for a student who is transferred under the provisions of the Majority to Minority (M to M) policy to a school nearest the student's home district school attendance area.
2022 — 2023 Schools that Qualify for Majority to Minority Transfers
ELEMENTARY SCHOOLS: Blanchard (1<-3rd only), Mooringsport, A.C. Steere
MIDDLE SCHOOL: Donnie Bickham
HIGH SCHOOLS: North Caddo, Northwood
HARDSHIP and MEDICAL TRANSFERS
- Must be renewed during the open transfer application period of March 1, 2022 thru April 15, 2022.
- Hardship / Medical Transfer requests are accepted to most Caddo Schools with the following exceptions: Magnet schools / Magnet or Pre-K programs / Non-Residents of Caddo Parish
(Transportation is not provided for approved Hardship, Medical or Curriculum transfers per CPSB Policy)

IMPORTANT:
Attendance Department staff will be available to assist Caddo Parish Residents - parents/legal guardians/ employees with ORS transfer applications by calling the Attendance Office at 318-603-6308 March 1, 2022 thru April 15, 2022 between the hours of 8:00 a.m. thru 4:30 p.m. Monday thru Friday.
- Transfer requests are accepted online ONLY. The Online Registration System (ORS) will date and time stamp requests. Additionally, all documents (child's birth certificate, current shot record, social security card, Parent ID and current electric or water or gas utility bill or current mortgage statement or current signed lease in Parent/Legal Guardian name), proof of hardship (if applicable), and proof of medical diagnosis (if applicable) must be uploaded to successfully submit the request.
- The following criteria will determine approval or denial of a transfer request by the Attendance Department: space availability at the requested school (per Principal), date & time of submission (based upon successful submission), final grades (minimum of 2.0 GPA), attendance (no more than 5 unexcused absences or tardies) and discipline (no out of school suspensions). Per CPSB Policy JBCCA, any student attending a school by reason of an M2M transfer, curriculum transfer or hardship transfer who receives two (2) out of school suspension within one (1) single school year will be returned to the neighborhood school in the student's original attendance zone at the beginning of the next school year (2022/2023).
